POSABILITIES GRAPHICS

posAbilities: Graphics for Clothes Drop

Clothes Drop was a social enterprise at posAbilities which allowed the organization to raise funds to support their programs and services. As a co-op student, I had the opportunity to work on improving Clothes Drop by raising awareness for it internally as well as implementing our clothing donation services at various businesses and buildings.

UBC UNA Partnership

We partnered with the UBC University Neighbourhood Association to place clothing donation bins in their buildings.

I created an information card on Adobe InDesign to communicate to the target audience, making them aware of what could be donated, how to donate, and how engaging in this initiative would help the community.

I also created a clothing donation bin sign to show what items could be donated at bins and how to have the bin serviced.

Internal Campaign

We ran an internal campaign to encourage employees to donate more to Clothes Drop.

I created four posters using Piktochart (an application similar to Canva, a free graphic design program) which were displayed at the posAbilities head office, at our day program sites, and in posAbilities housing.

The campaign proved successful as we saw an increase in clothing donations at our office and various sites when we distributed these materials along with running internal clothing drives a few times a year.
